Leadership Matters, Inc. was formed in January 2003. The purpose of Leadership Matters, Inc. is to provide leadership development for high school principals, administrators and teacher leaders throughout Oregon and to provide statewide leadership for high school transformation.

Kate Dickson, PhD

Kate Dickson recently retired from the Oregon Department of Education as Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction. Before joining the Department of Education, Kate was Assistant Director of COSA, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction in West Linn/Wilsonville School District, and a school principal and teacher in Salem-Kaiser School District. Kate also enjoys her work as an adjunct professor at the University of Oregon and Lewis and Clark.
